Day 3

Woo hoo! I lost a pound! Well I gained a pound during my load days so it's really just the pound I gained.

Today I had chicken breast and tomatoes with garlic for lunch and poached tilapia with steamed spinach for dinner. I also had the 2 melba toasts and an apple and orange.

Yep I am dreaming of fettucine alfredo. I had a very healthy day and yet I want fat laden food. What gives? I know I can't eat it because that is what got me into this situation in the first place. I am not terribly hungry but I am used to eating much more.

My new mantra is Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!

Day 2 VLCD

Weight: 153.2

Yesterday was my first 500 calorie day. I wasn't really hungry but I also didn't eat the fruit. Today I will.

It's going to be a challenging day. I have to leave at 3pm and drive to Seattle to write up a contract. I can eat my lunch but dinner I will have to take with me. I find this part of the diet the most challenging. If I were sitting at a desk all day it wouldn't be an issue but on the run it's not so easy. I have to figure out recipes that can be eaten cold. Chicken and steak work best for me.

First Day of VLCD (500 calories)

Weight: 154.8


Surprisingly I woke up this morning not ravenous. I normally wake up so hungry I eat within 1 hr and take my meds. Today is the 3rd day of the diet. I did the first two where I ate everything and today is day 3 the start of the VLCD (very low calorie diet).

I've had the shake and I am now drinking green tea and I am not hungry. I am still a little shocked!
