I hit the plateau!  I have to drop calories to kick myself out of it.  I noticed eliminating beef will do it.  It's too high in calories. I'll make shrimp and tomatoes to bring. I'll bake it with garlic and MCT oil with italian seasonings.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch will be the tilapia and spinach and orange.  Breakfast is standard.   I have a protein shake and a cup of green tea. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I woke up with a slight pain in my side. Have no idea what it's from.  Stress could be the cause.  Stress causes a lot of health problems people have. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So far I am liking this diet.  It's easy and I am losing weight. Losing weight.  Had to take lunch with me since I was showing homes to a client.  I brought shrimp and asparagus with garlic and ginger, an apple and a melba toast. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For dinner I had poached tilapia and steamed spinach with garlic and an orange.  I often eat the melba toast and fruit in between meals to keep my blood sugar even.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;No side effects so far.   I am still craving pasta.  Hope it passes soon.  Wonder how long it takes?  I won't be able to eat it for 2 months.  After the 40 days on HCG it's another 3 weeks of no sugar or starches.  Back to a modified Atkins for 3 weeks. I lost a pound! Well I gained a pound during my load days so it's really just the pound I gained.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today I had chicken breast and tomatoes with garlic for lunch and poached tilapia with steamed spinach for dinner. I also had the 2 melba toasts and an apple and orange.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Yep I am dreaming of fettucine alfredo. I had a very healthy day and yet I want fat laden food. What gives? I know I can't eat it because that is what got me into this situation in the first place. I wasn't really hungry but I also didn't eat the fruit.  Today I will.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It's going to be a challenging day.  I have to leave at 3pm and drive to Seattle to write up a contract.   I can eat my lunch but dinner I will have to take with me.  I find this part of the diet the most challenging.  If I were sitting at a desk all day it wouldn't be an issue but on the run it's not so easy.   I have to figure out recipes that can be eaten cold. I normally wake up so hungry I eat within 1 hr and take my meds. Today is the 3rd day of the diet. I did the first two where I ate everything and today is day 3 the start of the VLCD (very low calorie diet).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I've had the shake and I am now drinking green tea and I am not hungry.
